WebApr 20, 2024 · It turns out that the shortcut was a 64 bit OS shortcut. Crysis\Bin32. Use extesion Crysis Crytek Gmbh to launch the game. That worked for me to launch on my Windows XP 32 bit machine. I am sure it will work on 32 bit versions of Windows 7 and 10 too, even Vista if anyone uses that. WebEDIT: Just figured out Crysis for anyone interested. Went to the Crysis folder itself on my hard drive, went to Crysis > Bin64 then clicked on Crysis64.exe (the one I assumed I needed since I have Windows 64 bit) and got the same result as usual. Then I clicked on Crysis.exe, works like a charm. Hope this helps anyone with the same issue.
