It comes into effect on 25 May 2024 and applies to all organisations, including schools, which process (i.e. store, access and/or collect) personal data. This document outlines what the GDPR is, and what it means for schools. WebData Protection Act 1998 is up to date with all changes known to be in force on or before 16 March 2024. There are changes that may be brought into force at a future date.
