WebNov 3, 2015 · The gib probably wore off the scraping and or 1/2 moon flaking and it rung together, got stick slip and slid in breaking the gib bolt key. You need to scrape in some oil pockets, check the lube to be sure the lube is getting in there. Straighten a gib is simle, buy you need to braze on the broken end. Or cut in a new key and put Turcite on the gib.
